About Edwards Supply

Our History

Established in 1987, Edwards Supply Co., Inc. began as a part-time venture. In June 1993, Tracie Rucker took over the majority stake, transforming the business into a minority/woman-owned enterprise based in Oak Ridge, TN.

At its reopening in 1993, Edwards Supply faced significant challenges: no product lines, no clientele, and just two employees, Tracie Rucker and Jack Dyer, the owners. The company operated from a mini storage building, utilizing the owners' cars for deliveries.

Since then, Edwards Supply has evolved into a premier distributor in the electrical industry, representing renowned brands like 3M, B-Line, Brady, GE Industrial, GE Lighting, Hammond Enclosures O-Z Gedney, Pass & Seymour, Panduit, among others.

Situated in a spacious 10,000-square-foot warehouse at 315 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Edwards Supply boasts a fleet of delivery vehicles, catering to customers across the US and internationally. With a team of 20 full-time employees boasting a collective experience of over 100 years in the electrical field, we ensure exceptional service and expertise.

Edwards Supply has secured enduring contracts with esteemed institutions such as Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 Nuclear Facility, and Savannah River Nuclear Site. Notably, we are a primary supplier for the Bulk Electrical Contract at the UPF Facility within the Y-12 Nuclear Facility. Additionally, our prestigious clientele includes Michelin North America, Essex Group, Denso Automotive, The University of Tennessee, Eastman Chemical Company, and numerous industrial, governmental, and automotive entities nationwide.
