Edwards Supply Co., Inc. was founded in 1987 and was operated as a part-time business. In June of 1993 Tracie Rucker, purchased controlling interest and began operating as a minority/woman-owned business in Oak Ridge, TN.
Upon reopening in June of 1993, Edwards Supply had no product lines, no customers, and only two employees (the owners-Tracie Rucker and Jack Dyer). The only warehouse space was a mini storage building and the only delivery vehicles were the owner’s cars.
Edwards Supply now represents the finest product lines in the electrical industry such as 3M, B-Line, Brady, GE Industrial, GE Lighting, Hammond Enclosures O-Z Gedney, Pass & Seymour, Panduit, as well as many other leading manufactures.
We are located in a 10,000-sqf warehouse at 315 Oak Ridge Turnpike in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We have multiple delivery vehicles and will ship all over the US and abroad. We have 20 full-time employees combining over 100 years of electrical experience.
Edwards Supply currently holds long-term contracts with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 Nuclear Facility, and Savannah River Nuclear Site. Edwards Supply is also a prime supplier for the Bulk Electrical Contract at the UPF Facility being built on the Y-12 Nuclear Facility. Other prestigious customers with whom we have long term relationships are Michelin North America, Essex Group, Denso Automotive, The University of Tennessee, Eastman Chemical Company, and numerous industrial, government, and automotive facilities throughout the US.
